Foxy Shazam, Drain You (Nirvana cover found on Newermind:  A Tribute Album)

In no way does Foxy Shazam have ELO vocals (it’s more Melissa Etheridge) or well a definite Meatloaf sound either but this cover of Nirvana’s“Drain You” gives me just the most delightful as fuck ELO meets Meatloaf musical sex vibe.  It’s really a cover that gives me an out of this world fucking amazing feeling.  I was hesitant to post this one.  See I don’t know how many people are as game as I am for well a rock opera-ish, very very very Broadway at times version of “Drain You.”  But then my friend messaged me “I request, nay, demand you post the ‘Drain You’ cover on your blog. ‘Drain You’ is one of my all-time faves.”  I couldn’t say no to him plus it just gave me the extra push to post this one.  I hope you guys enjoy Foxy Shazam getting all Kurt Cobain-y and say “Yep I’m digging this one a lotty lot lot.”

Hate Nirvana but I’m okay with this.
